Vandanges!

So about 20 people, about 8 in our room and the others divided into to other rooms, and we prepared ourselves for about 8 days of work and lots of nice food and wine.
After the first day, our backs were hurting like hell, we had cuts from the knife we used in our hands and were exhausted by all the work (Josefine and I haven`t been working for more than 6 months) :P
atleast we got some ok food and lots of wine to forget about the first day and continue the next.
And so the week elapsed, pain in our backs, lots of wine lots of cuts and LOTS of new fantastic friends!
In the end the harvest was finished in 6 days which i think pleased almost everyone due to the hard work.

Okay.. we got out of Paris!!!! Amazing, it took us about 30 bus rides in different direktions and some good luck. We managed to hike to a city caled Bordeux (the wine capital of france) againg we had no place to sleep, so we made a nice sign from a old carton lying on the street, the sign said couchsurfer?? after about ten minutes we had a nice place to stay for several days with party and food included!!
So we had lots of time to search for some place to work, but it was not easy, all the internet sites were in french! Finally we stumbled over a page in english called apcon and after one phone call we had work for a week, not so long as we thought but soon we learned to apriciate the short time.

By this time we realized that if we should have a chance to arrive in belleville, villie morgon in time we had to leave now, so thats what we did. we started with getting about 150 km the first day, with about 60 left to go the second day and a margin of one day before we had to be there, luckily we met this spanish couple going to germany and they`d pass lyon pretty close to where we wanted to go, so we ended up in chalon about 60 miles from belleville.
The day after (in this case sunday) we woke up by fireman posing outside our tent :/ and realized that we were supposed top be at the farmer that day, and start working tomorrow, so after about 10 minutes this nice lady picked us up and drove us about 15km, but that was far from long enough, and we started hitchiking again at an (almost) deserted gas-station at the national road between chalon and lyon.
After 2 hours out there we our positive point of view started to crack and about then a man picked us up and told us that we could go to Macon with him, fine thats still about 30km to short but it`s better than nothing, after a while socializing he suddenly told us that he would drive us to the farmer, and, so he did, and it was wonderful, but when we arrived we fell to sleep almost at once, exhausted bye the stress and to little to eat.
At dinner that night it was about 20 people and now we had another problem, what about some privacy??
Soon we realized that privacy wasn`t included in the farmers vocabular so we started talking to people instead, making new friends and having a nice time!

In Lovely, Lonesome Paris

So, we are in Paris, the city of love and romance.
Yeah right! the first day we had NOWHERE to sleep! can you imagine?
nowhere to sleep in a big BIG city, so we actually had to run around almost the whole city to find a place to sleep that we could afford, the result of this mistake was a bill of 35€ for the two of us in a hotel with a big room, so it wasn`t that bad, but sure a lot more than we can afford.
The next day we prowled the city one more time in a desperate attempt to find a place to sleep on a way out of paris, which isn`t as easy as it sounds, try hitchiking in the centre of a big city, it just won`t work, and busses or metro trains don`t go all the way out of the city, and trains in france are auite expensive, the cheapest ticket for us was actually 150€ and that we can certainly not afford, it was getting late and we were eating at one of the stations furthest out of town, we realized that the best thing we could do was to make a sign: ?Couchsurfer? and believe it or not, but in like 10 minutes a nice lady started to talk to us and offered us to sleep in her apartment with her 3 boys (16, 17 and 24 years old) and we had a nice time trying to understand each other since france isn`t the best place to be english speaking, but they were quite good and after a while we had no problem at all making ourself understood!
The next day we left the apartment after realizing that my cousin Josefin (Yeah another one ;)) were in paris, so we made our way to Marie Dìvry and thats where we are currently staying.
(And I have to admit that Paris IS a bit romantic without a 20kg backpack on your shoulders ;)

Continue

well, after a faw day at home we came back to our summer house and find that Fanny is still there!!
She welcomes us with a huge blueberry pie, and so our friendship was sealed.
After a few weeks it was time for URKULT and we where still at the summer house, and Fanny was still with us.
While at the festival we had loads of work to do, building swings, taking care of kids, taking care of parents, taking care of the people who were supposed to take care of the kids for us and eating pancakes.
So as you must understand, we were super tired after we were finished, so me, Marcus and  Fanny drove to my parents place, left the car and walked 60 kilometers to hudiksvall, over the mountains, we ran out of food and had the luck to have the woods full of mushrooms...

Copenhagen!

So, finally we've arrived in copenhagen, and as i said, there's so much to tell you.
First we went from Oresund, Sweden, to Josefine's summerhouse, where we rightfully (atleast to us) took a week off, showering, resting, whatever you may want to do when you have a fixed spot for a couple of days.

As we were going home, we met this really wonderful girl, Fanny, and her dog Sally, from uppsala, and told her that she could live a couple of nights in Josefine's summerhouse if she wanted to, since she travelled by foot and we know how wonderful a soft bed can be sometimes.

So, we continued back to Delsbo by car with Katarina (Josefine's) mother, to go and get our cv2 citroen to use at Urkult since we're bossing around over there nowadays!
A day at home to say hello to my mom and dad, and of course to John, David and Susanne aswell, and then we went back to Ulla'nger...

More to come! see ya!
